Siva Hill and Temple

About Siva Temple Hill

Siva Temple Hill is overlooking the Yoga Farm from the southern side. The hike to the top starts near the Siva cabins and takes you up a hillside where you will find the 108 steps to get to the top of the hill. Once at the top you have a magnificent view of the entire valley and the peaceful silence is memorable. Make sure you check out the Siva rock painting which is just over a small hill across from the shrine.

Siva Temple Shrine

The Siva shrine rock location was chosen by Swami Vishnudevananda in 1991 before leaving his body. The Siva lingam on top represents the Pure Consciousness or Higher Self. The statues are made in India out of black granite which is said to have properties that absorbs spiritual energy.
