Description

This is part of the series of monthly Permaculture Weekends.

Come surround yourselves in different scents, while exploring which ones have long been used to benefit meditation, yoga, state of mind, daily lives, and emotional and physical healing. This seminar embraces both the rich, traditional lore and modern science of aromatic plants to heal mind, body & spirit. Aromatic plants that are useful for many functions in permaculture will be reviewed. You'll experience ancient Vedic and Western aromatic products and create your own aromatherapy products in class from a large selection of essential oils and aromatic plants. We'll distill plants in class and visit the ashram's own lavender field to work with healing properties of their lavender oil and hydrosol. You'll go home with products made in class to and knowledge of how to use them (can make more) to enrich the lives of everyone around you.

$12 materials fee applies if you'd like to make your own essential oil blend to bring home.
