Description

Yogis believe that every aspect of life is sacred. That is why each significant stage, from conception to cremation, is celebrated as a reminder that life is a gift from God which should be duly respected and lived according to His wishes. Since eternity man has strived to improve his own self. This realisation, unique only to mankind, has led him to think deeper about his physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

Join Vedic priest Pandit Samavedula as we explore the ancient scriptures of India known as the Vedas. The knowledge of the Vedas has been handed down from generation to generation and form the foundation of modern Hindu and Yoga practice today. We will be learning about eight forms of Maha Lakshmi, their mantras and remedies.

Mantra – A mantra is a sacred vibration encased in a sound structure. Mantra is a tool for raising one’s consciousness, repeated mentally or aloud to tune to higher energies.
Puja – A worship ritual performed as an offering to various forms of the Divine, distinguished persons, or special guests. Puja is performed for a variety of occasions, from daily puja done in the home, to temple ceremonies and large festivals, or to begin a new endeavor.
Homa – A worship ritual in which offerings are made into a consecrated fire. A homa ceremony, a traditional Vedic practice, is used to mark auspicious occasions and to honor specific deities.
