Are you sometimes faced with challenging interactions and unsure of what to do? Often in such situations we either forego our needs and succumb to others demands (submit) or impose our needs over others (rebel). Theres a third way: one which connects us through our shared humanity, opens our hearts to care for one anothers needs, and inspires life-serving action on all sides. The powerfully transformative 4-step process of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) developed by Marshall Rosenberg (observation, feelings, needs, requests) offers a practical roadmap for doing this and becomes a spiritual practice. We will learn this internationally-used process in a personally relevant format within the framework of yogic philosophy and practices.
