Yoga Asana Course: Regain Lost Flexibility & Increase Strength

This week Swami Adi Parashaktiananda will lead the morning asana classes and focus on specific asanas and asana sequences within the Sivananda sequence to help the physical body become stronger and regain flexibility. Each day will have a specific focus for the asanas to help the body become more attuned and supple. It is said muscle length & strength go hand-in-hand, so as we become more flexible the body will also become stronger.
Monday – Focus on Sun Salutations & Alignment
Tuesday – Focus on Forward Bending Variations
Wednesday – Focus on Backbending Variations
Thursday – Focus on Inversions & Balancing
Friday – Meditative Class – focus on long holding for strength
Classes will be recorded so you can have access to the same class for your afternoon session.
