Awareness, Anger, Balance
This is one section of the course on Health and Well-being. Each lesson includes a one-hour video and an accompanying article along with a short essay style quiz at the end.
Lesson 1: Self awareness, existential anxiety and stress
Most people only talk about their body and mind because that’s all that they can handle. They forget about the spirit. However, it’s actually the spirit that is the most important thing because it comes before everything else. The mind comes from the spirit and the body comes from the mind.
Lesson 2: Yoga Strategies for Overcoming Anger
One is anger, which comes from desire unfulfilled. The little children of anger are frustration, irritation, rage annoyance, annoyed, resentment. Thoughts have different power. Rage is very strong but annoyance and irritation not so strong.
Lesson 3: Yoga of Balance
The practice of Yoga aims to achieve inner balance. Hatha (Ha Tha) Yoga is balance between the sun and the moon energy. It is the balance between the hot and cold, active and passive, male and female, yin and yang. We need to learn to regulate our energy and understand that all of our problems are coming from the imbalance of energy. Imbalance of energy is manifested in personalities. We can alleviate the imbalance of personality through regulating our energy.
As you watch the lessons, it is recommended that you sit on the floor in a cross legged position and have a notebook and a pen with you so you can take notes and reflect on the teachings.
