Date & Time Details:

Arrival: Check-in time is 2:00pm. We encourage you to arrive by 4:00pm for the Asana class. Dinner is at 6:00pm and there will be a Welcoming Orientation at 7:00pm followed by Satsang at 8:00pm.

Departure: Check-out time is 12:00pm. The course will end at 2pm on Sunday. You are welcome to stay in the ashram for the rest of the afternoon even after checking out of your room.

Holistic Health Retreat: Yoga for Respiratory Health

with Hanuman (Ryan Hudson)

Description

It is by means of breathing that every cell of the body receives its supply of oxygen and at the same time gets rid of the products of oxidation.  Oxygen combining with the carbon and hydrogen of the tissues enables the metabolic process of each individual cell to proceed with the result that work is affected and waste products in the form of carbon dioxide and water are eliminated.

The team of SIHY’s Yoga Health Educators and Nutrition Service will guide you to make these decisions with knowledge and confidence. Feel empowered with Classical Yoga knowledge for a healthy Yoga lifestyle.

Daily Schedule

6-8am   Satsang: Silent meditation, chanting and lecture
8-9:30am  Special Yoga therapeutic class – adapted to condition
10am      Brunch
11am      Karma Yoga
1-2:30pm   Yoga Health Workshop
3-4pm   Free Time and Nature walks
4-5pm   Special Yoga therapeutic class – adapted to condition
