Personalized Holistic Self-Care: Rejuvenate Body, Mind & Spirit with Yoga Therapy

with Molly Dahl

September 23 - 28, 2025

Description

Self-care supports good health, not only of the body, but the mind and soul as well. Good health is important. We know that. But what is “good health”? How can we define it? What does it look like in our day-to-day habits of thought, speech, and behavior?

According to Swami Sivanada, health is a normal state in which all organs function well under the intelligent control of the mind. Healthy living, what we today call “lifestyle”, is taking care of the self—the physical, emotional, and mental self that shows up as You, each day.

As we take care of this self, we create an inner spaciousness where the Self, the comprehensive and complete spiritual aspect of being, unfolds itself into our reality. Through healthy lifestyle habits, we cultivate the union of self with Self, eventually coming to the realization that “I am my soul. I am the Self.” This 5-day retreat will offer practices and philosophies to support overall health and well-being.

You’ll take home simple yet profound strategies and techniques:
• Do-able yoga postures/practices
• Breathing techniques to calm and balance your energy
• Ideas and “how to’s” for nourishing your body through real food
• Ways to let go and deeply relax
• Skills to increase positive thinking and to steady the mind
