Learn the classical methods of Yoga for peace of mind and meditation, as taught 2000 years ago by Sage Patanjali in the famous Raja Yoga Sutras.

During this weekend you will practice pranayama (yogic breathing exercises) to increase energy and understand the relationship between prana and state of mind.

Lectures will be devoted to Hatha Yoga, Yogic lifestyle and routines, and the Raja Yoga Sutras.

Daily Schedule

6-8am Satsang: Silent meditation, chanting and lecture
8-10am Yoga Class
10am Brunch
11am Karma Yoga
1-3pm Workshop and Pranayama Practice
3-4pm Free Time and Nature walks
4-6pm Yoga Class
6pm Dinner

8-10pm Satsang: meditation, chanting and lecture


$90 plus Accommodations for 3 nights.

Arrival and Departure

The course will begin at 7pm on Thursday, July 23 with orientation & satsang, and will end Sunday, July 26 at 3pm.

We encourage you to arrive by 4pm on Thursday, making the most out of the afternoon by joining us for the Asana class and dinner. You are always welcome and encouraged to extend your stay to any length before or after the course. Swami Adi Parashaktiananda

Swami Adi Parashaktiananda is a dedicated Sadhak and Hatha Yoga practitioner and teacher, graduated from Sivananda Teachers Training Course in 2007 at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, CA. He took the first monastic vow from Sivananda lineage in 2011. He has been traveling yearly to Vietnam as Swami Sitaramananda's assistant and has been teaching the Hatha Yoga classes for the Teachers Training Course. He has also been traveling to Chengdu, China to help teach the Teachers Training Course there.  He also teaches a 7-day Hatha Yoga Sadhana course and the 14-day Sivananda Sadhana Intensive course, whose emphasis is on individual practice of pranayama.  He took sannyas vows in 2017 and received the name Swami Adi Parasahktiananda.
