January 16 - 19, 2025
Description
Today’s world is inundated with technology. Whether it’s our devices, large screen televisions, smart watches, or smart appliances, our life is surrounded by technology. But, is it good for us? How does it impact our lives? This retreat offers participants a chance to step out of the artificial, fast-paced virtual world and back into life’s grounding reality. When you undergo this type of experience, it becomes easier to return to daily life with greater boundaries and awareness around your relationship with your devices.
Medical and scientific studies have shown that when you reduce screen time, it improves sleep, mental health, social connections, brain and cognitive functions and lowers stress. This retreat is designed to send you home with a relaxed nervous system, amplified bio-field, and a richer connection with life around you.
You will explore meditation walks, nature excursions, star-gazing, moon bathing, grounding practices, yoga and the benefits of syncing up your ciradian rhythm with your Earth Mothers. You will begin to see the importance of living a life more connected to the natural world around you.
If you are unable to arrive on Thursday, please join us Friday by 7pm. Retreat closes at noon on Sunday. Please note, this retreat is phone-free environment. You are encouraged to give your loved ones the ashram phone number and email for emergencies.
