Date & Time Details:

Arrival: Check-in time is 2:00pm. The retreat starts at 6 a.m. on Dec. 21 and your bags can be held at the front desk until your room is ready, or you are welcome to arrive the day before and stay the night at regular accommodation pricing. We encourage you to arrive by 4:00pm for the Asana class. Dinner is at 6:00pm and there will be a Welcoming Orientation at 7:00pm followed by Satsang at 7:30pm.

Departure: Check-out time is 12:00pm. The Holiday Retreat will conclude at 3pm on the Final date. You are welcome to stay in the ashram for the rest of the afternoon even after checking out of your room.

Holiday Retreat: Living Peace, Living Love

Description

The Christmas holiday symbolizes the highest in us – pure Devotion and Love. In the Yoga tradition the word Bhakti is this, and the practice of Bhakti is seen as both the devotional path of Yoga and also the goal of life – to come in to union with the absolute Love itself. In this retreat we will start and end our days with meditation and devotion in Satsang, enjoy twice daily Yoga Asana and Pranayama classes and wholesome vegetarian organic meals, and we will also participate each day in joyful chanting and divine song, enjoy the gifts of great musicians, and participate in special Christmas pujas. All who participate will certainly experience the bliss of the Self and also carry with them gems of both philosophy and practice that will help to experience the joy of Christmas every day. Join us for a special holiday retreat filled with the Yoga of Love and Devotion.
