Lifestyle Medicine and Natural Healing

Health is Your Birthright

LIFESTYLE MEDICINE

Experience for yourself the benefits of a daily combination of these time-tested Yoga techniques and get back your positive health. Health is in your hands and in the hands of Mother Nature. It is not in the hands of the doctors and the big Pharmaceutical companies who only address symptoms.

Health is your birthright. It is natural to be healthy. There are three levels to positive health: body, mind, spirit. Learn how these levels of our being interact with each other and influence each other. Health and healing is not just dealing with symptoms.

READ WHAT GUESTS ARE SAYING

At my most recent doctor’s appointment, I had a fasting blood sugar level over 130; one day this week it was as high as 166.  Then I came to the ashram for the Diabetes/Health weekend. On Saturday my blood sugar was down to 119. On Sunday it was 115.  I learned it was not just diet, but relaxation, sleep, nature, meditation, as well as the freshest food and fun with my fellow classmates that are part of the yoga approach. Many thanks to Karuna and Priya for a wonderful weekend.

I’m a first timer. To be honest, I almost left on the first night due to feeling so very out of place.  I told myself that I’m here to experience life and so I did.  I wish I could stay longer.  The meditation alone is life changing.  The morning and evening satsang is so grounding and allowed me to connect to all  those in the camp.  Although I don’t have any major health issues, I was educated on [the] best foods for my body.  I am already planning a trip back – maybe with my husband next time.

This retreat was absolutely fantastic! The facilities – truly beautiful, grounded in nature; the teachers, best in the world, gifted and talented; the program – comprehensive, taught from a very positive approach (considering the negative topic) the food – delicious, michelin star quality. As a practitioner of yoga for 18 years, this retreat was by far the best yoga experience of my life! Highly recommend
